THE SCHOOL EVENT AS A HUMSS STUDENTS

There were plenty of typical days this school year, but there were also some genuinely memorable ones.
This day stood out, breaking away from the usual routine. Instead of our typical classrooms, we found ourselves in the mini-gym, buzzing with energy as we prepared for the upcoming school event. The air was thick with excitement and a bit of stress, as we felt the pressure of deadlines approaching. It was an electrifying mix of anticipation and nerves. My classmates tackled our shopping list head-on, cooperating like a well-oiled machine.

A fun culinary experience was promised by our ambitious menu, which included delectable shawarma that evoked sunny Mediterranean days, creamy Milo pudding cups that reminded us of home, a quirky selection of squash juices with a Harry Potter theme, including Gryffindor pumpkin and Hufflepuff butternut squash, each color-coded for added flair, and the always popular pot cheese. In order to find the best ingredients while staying within our budget, we then embarked on a calculated trip to the local market.

I was responsible for bringing our ideas to life visually rather than cooking. I was responsible for designing our stall's appearance as the graphic designer. Hours flew by as I worked on my laptop, designing a fun logo featuring a cartoon shawarma with a tiny wizard's hat, putting together a menu that highlighted our unique dishes, and making eye-catching posters to attract customers.
Designing, printing, cutting, laminating, and carefully positioning stickers was a never-ending cycle. The process was often interrupted by the annoying quirks of a stubborn printer and the frantic search for the right-sized stickers. In the midst of all this creativity, errands piled up: rushing to the faculty room for supplies, desperately looking for a working stapler, and making countless trips to the printer.
